Thanks for the shoutout, Betsy! And the recs. Most of these publications, I already know and love, but I’m excited to go check out the new-to-me names on this list :)
Bless you! So exciting to go to look forward to your newsletter and then find the Austen Connection in it! Thank you, Betsy! It's wonderful to be part of the book corner with you here in Substack - #Bookstackers! Looking forward to so much more community and booktalk in the new year!
Just finding my way to your Stack after seeing Notes about your "Middle" conversation. What a beautiful and robust place you've created here for imagination and community! 🎈 May I ask if #BookStackers (the authors) are active and communicating with each other? After 30 years teaching literature, I write a BookStack, "Enchanted in America - insights from literature and history about the cultivation and care of united states." Zen moments/enchantments/book-induced sparks: these are all in the same family, I think. Beyond subscribing to some of the #BookStackers, are there other ways to connect with this group? Thank you! I look forward to reading more of your posts and joining in the comments. :-)
Hi Tara, and welcome! There might be down the road -- all of these folks published for at least a year to 18 months before joining the group which has periodic discussions online for support and idea-exchange. Let's touch base again, after a bit more time?
As a reader and aspiring author, I am so happy the book community is here! Do you guys only read traditionally published books? Or do you read books by indie authors too?
We read all good books. Every stacker has their own focus and general "rules" so just get familiar with them and you'll see which interests match what you like to read or write.
Love to be part of this group of book lovers!
Thank you for including Satchel Notes. How lovely to be part of this wonderful list.
Love it! Thanks for including me!
Thanks so much for including my newsletter on here, Elizabeth! So nice to also see all the great newsletters included from this community 😊

I’m here, too! I’ve loved meeting some of you and now glad I’ve found more! I started in January of this year and it’s been a fun ride so far!

"Let's Talk Books" by Ryan Pendell feels like it would fit this list. Cheers!
