I have plenty of life experiences of living with alcoholics. I admire and appreciate those who have freed themselves from that addiction. I know it's one day at a time, but to make that choice every day is worthy of admiration.

Thank you, Charlotte! I wouldn't call it advice per se but surrounding yourself with the people who do the work you do (and want to do) can lead to opportunities. That sounds corny but less random than admitting I was introduced to Granta by a dog sitting client many years ago. Thanks for checking out Make It Stop!

- viral short essay on medium/online mag
